GAH. Arthur took his first steps today...while we were waiting at the Toyota dealership.

Arthur gave up his nuk months ago. Recently he's been feeling a little left out because all of his friends at school take a nuk, so he's improvising by holding small objects in his mouth. This plastic cookie was in his mouth for 15 minutes. The night before, I gave him a nuk and he put it in backwards and held on to the handle with his teeth.

I've been wanting to start a blog since Arthur was born. I have been inspired by the innumerable difficulties and joys of motherhood and want to help make the road a little less bumpy for other mamas out there. The problem was the name. I thought of a few and the ones I really liked weren't available (Hey, Mama) and the ones that were, weren't perfect (Mrs. Anderdaddy) then today on the way to work it hit me. Double Bird.

So here we are.
